This past week has seen a pattern of applying intentional force, and taking intentional rest. Uruz (ᚢ), and Isa (ᛁ).

Hagalaz provided the necessary turbulence to disrupt previous patterns enough to make room for something new. Laguz created flow to guide the newly developed pattern into a channel. Jera wound that flowing pattern into a natural cycle, giving it the energy to sustain itself.
And today, Sowilo is the sound of victory trumpets heralding the success of these efforts. This also aligns with the second daily rune, Dagaz (ᛞ).
Reflection
In an available moment today, give yourself some time, fifteen minutes or so, to reflect in solitude on the past seven days of your life.
Notice which patterns have been disrupted, and what new patterns have been forming in your day-to-day.
Examine all aspects of your life: work, play, family, romance, community, finances...
The Runes have been offering all of the energy necessary to break the momentum of old patterns and create a new pattern more aligned with who you really are and how you truly wish to live your life.
Change happens over time, and real positive change takes real positive effort.
The pattern of Uruz (ᚢ), Isa (ᛁ), and Jera (ᛃ) in particular is very supportive of making positive change. With a wise application of vital strength and intentional rest, a new cycle of self can be born.
