Following Tiwaz, Eihwaz arrives to help the Traveler surrender to the Path. Only in full surrender can the Traveler make the journey into becoming the fullest expression and beingness of the self.

The Light

In its light, Eihwaz is the portal through which the Traveler makes the transition into full selfhood. It is the sieve which filters out the courser particles of mind and ego, allowing only the finer elements of spirit and true self to pass onward.

The Shadow

In its shadow, this transition is more painful than necessary for the Traveler, not because the energy of Eihwaz is more intense, but because the Traveler has not yet learned how to surrender fully to the process of letting go the parts of mind and ego which are false in the light of the Self.
